The successful candidate for this role while reporting to the infrastructure Manager will be required to:
- Manage Data Centre operations
- Develop, establish and improve service management process in other to ensure effective, efficient and secured provision of infrastructure and other IT services based on best practices in the industry(ITIL3v)
- Oversee management of user authorisation and authentication of key business applications
- Manage the procurement of all IT- related purchases
The Person:
The candidate must:
- Possess a university degree in computer science, computer engineering or information technology
- Have minimum of two years experience in IT operations in the FMCG industry
- Be experienced in developing system infrastructure, in monitoring, controlling and maintaining IT operations
- Possess an IT professional qualification ITIL
- Have passion for documentation and knowledge management
- Be able to communicate technical data processing information effectively both orally and in writing
- Have good people management skill
- Have sound skill in and knowledge of Data operations management, solaris unix administration, SQL administration, storage/ NetApps management, tape library administration, Application integration, operations/ process optimisation
